Suhi Cold Spring Resort Sorsogon

https://www.google.com
Suhi is very well known for its Spring Resort. It has a color of blue water and natural. It is like the nature type that you can hear the hymn of the birds flying. As you can see in the picture it has a boundary between the 2 pools. One is for the kids and one is for adult. It has a 5-6 feet for the adult and 3-4 feet for the kids. If you want to go there you can relieve your stress from work and schools. It is a perfect place for the friends and family outing. You can enjoy the true spirit of the nature like place because it is located far from the road. You can stay overnight here because thay have cabanas who wants to stay. It has a cottages for the foodtrips and drinks.

As you can see in the picture, it is the main entrance going to the pool. First, you only need to pay the entrance fee at the booth area. This place is perfect for the friend's outing and even family outing. You can escape to the ordinary resorts that you experienced and try something to like to this place. We go there because we want some fun and adventure with friends and I think our stay there is so worth it because of the place that we are not expecting.

You can also enjoy the slide like canal with flowing water. It is so fun and enjoyed and try to do this one but be careful for doing this. This is Cillyn, my friend from Castilla Sorsogon. She invited us for us to experience this kind of place. Before, this place is not totally because this place is like a hidden place, but now, I think the owner of this spring resort looking forward for promoting it because I saw on facebooks and instagram that some other people visit this place already.

Sagurong, La Union Castilla Sorsogon

"Sagurong" very well known resort of Castilla Sorsogon. The first time I go there I feel amazed because of the way going there. It has very wide rough road and very difficult to walk. Actually, I don't have any idea about Sagurong but my friend told me about the place. It has a very cold and crystalline fresh water from the mountains. It has very clear and clean water, it has also cottages who wants to stay there for a day. When we went there, we saw the beautiful and instagramable backgrounds there. A lot of coconut and other trees around the place and I think it is not known by the other people especially the people who are too far for the place. I think if you have any plan to go there you have a right decision because all your money and tired body will be worth it because of the relaxing water that we can feel by our body.

wix.com

It is the example picture of Sagurong in Castilla Sorsogon. It has a very beuatiful ambiance especially in the afternoon going to sunset. It has a very clear water that you can swim with the very small fish. We went there because we want to explore more about Sorsogon and I think it is not only place that is beautiful in the province. But for me, Spring Resorts are the bests that beach or other resorts because of the water flowing down from the mountain.

wix.com
"Sagurong" is very well known because of the water flowing down to the pool like area. What you have seen in the photo that is the reason why this resort called Sagurong, because of the water flowing inside the bamboos that is called Sagurong. This place is perfect for the people who wants peace of mind especially the persons who are stress on their studies and work.

When you want to visit Sagurong at Castilla Sorsogon you only need to ride jeepney or bus going there. We went to Castilla from Legazpi 30 mins only and from Castilla going to Sagurong is 15 mins only. You will enjoy and feel the beautiful nature like place in Sagurong Spring Resort.

Exploring Ilocos Region

Calle Crisologo, Vigan Ilocos Sur
Region I is also known as Ilocos Region where we can find historical places like Calle Crisologo, different Churches and museums of the old people. It is known for its Calle Crisologo where Spanish style house, if you wants to experience the Philippine Spanish colonial time, a walk or a calesa ride through Vigan’s Calle Crisologo or Mena Crisologo Street is a must.

The houses are simple but lovely subjects ready for picture-perfect shots with their roofs of red tiles, thick walls, huge doors and stair cases leading to rooms of high ceilings and sliding capiz shell windows. Visitors can admire more closely the architecture and intricate craftsmanship employed in the grill and wood works when they step inside some of the houses that have been turned into stores and museums. They can even experience staying in a heritage house during their visit as some have been converted into inns.
At the sides of calle crisologo there's a lot of vendors selling souvenirs and products like food, bags, slippers and many more for pasalubong. Since it is closed to vehicular traffic at any time of the day, the stillness and shadows that come with the night adds more to the 18th century ambiance of the lamp-lit street that local and foreign visitors love. Couples can take advantage of this romantic atmosphere by having dinner in one of the old houses that has been converted to a restaurant, like Café Leona, before or after their walk.

For those who want to know something about the person the street is named after, Mena Pecson Crisologo is among the most-respected sons of the Ilokos region. He wrote Mining wenno Ayat ti Kararwa, which many compare to Jose Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere; an Ilocano translation of Don Quixote entitled Don Calixtofaro de la Kota Caballero de la Luna; and a zarzuela entitled Codigo Municipal.

Getting Around:

To get to other municipalities, towns or nearby provinces, you can choose from a variety of public transportation - buses, mini-buses or jeepneys.

  • Tricycle

These local taxis are widely available around the province. For just a minimal cost, you can reach nearby destinations or even hire them further as you please. Basically, the minimum fare per passenger is PhP 8.00.

  • Calesa

This centuries-old horse-drawn carriage is indeed a popular icon in Ilocos Sur. Foreigners and local tourists make it a point to traverse the streets of Vigan and nearby towns through the calesa. Ride on and feel the aura of the past!

  • Jeepney

This is a customized army jeep which was left by the Americans during the Second World War. Resized, remodeled, and shined, this multi-purpose vehicle is can accommodate from 20 to 30 passengers which takes them to other municipalities and cities in Ilocos Sur. It is also a famous symbol for the Philippines, known for its artistic designs, colors and horn sounds.

  • Mini-bus

If you want to reach a nearby town a little bit faster than the jeepney, then take the mini-bus. Most are not air-conditioned (although there are already some which are) since various cargoes especially market goods and almost all people from all walks of life ride on them.

  • Rent-a-van

If you wish to drive on your own in exploring Ilocos Sur, there is good list of accredited van or car owners which offer car rental services. The option of hiring a driver (probably the vehicle owner at that) is also available. Please inquire at the Ilocos Sur Tourism Information Center for more details.

RELATED PHOTOS:

Walking trip at Calle Crisologo at 4-6 pm in the evening is the best and peaceful place at Ilocos Sur. The place shows us the old sceneries that they have in the past. At the both sides of the streets you will see the vendors selling products for pasalubong and souvenirs.

Kalesa ride experience is the best because you will see the best of Ilocos the way they work harder for their families and it is one of the best attractions that Ilocos Sur has. They have approachable and kind "kuchero", they called the drivers of the calesa kuchero, for your information :)
It is one of the best attraction that the Ilocos Norte has, they called this activity as Sandunes Experience that located in Paoay Ilocos Norte. They have so many activities like you can ride at the sands or dessert style and you can take photos while riding. For me, you will experience this kind of adventure when you go with this activity so that your stay in Ilocos will be worth it.

This is at the top, you can take pictures as many as you want. Your stay at Ilocos will be the best experience because as you can see in the picture we enjoyed, have fun and adventure but it will be the best if you go here with your family and friends or even your loveone.

Another single photo that I have here. They have the best view while the sun is to high for us to enjoy. I believe that the "the tans will fade but the memories will last forever", I believe in that motto because it is true. Enjoy, be happy and having fun is the best! Come and visit Ilocos Region!!

Bangui Windmills farm, they have so many windmills to support their own electricity. They have unique supply of electricity there. They do not pay bills because of the solar panels and by the help also of Windmills. It is located at Ilocos Norte and it can be the best spot also in visiting Ilocos Region. Our money, time and tired body is so worth it as I can say.

Island Hopping at Caramoan!

Matukad Island in Caramoan, Camarines Sur

"World's Smallest Fish and Higher Climbs" tagline of Camarines Sur where Caramoan is located. According to the two persons who drives us for the Island hopping, the place is made famous by the hit global reality show franchise “Survivor” and became a favorite shooting location due to numerous islands with fine white sand, lagoons, caves, limestone cliffs and rocks, and rich marine life that give a new definition to an island experience. But even before the “Survivor” series, there was already Caramoan – beautifully unspoiled and unexploited.

According to research, with its natural beauty and rich history, Caramoan stands proud as a real tourism gem of Bicolandia that holds a promise of a perfect tropical island adventure!

When we are doing Island Hopping, we find this place called Matukad Island. Clear water with warm weather is the best for the Summer Escapade. There's a lot of fish, jelly fish, star fish and many more. Crystalline water is observed when we go there. From Legazpi City going to caramoan, you need to have your own vehicle and almost 8 hours trip before going there. Too tired and about a long hours before reaching it but I will tell you, it will  be worth it, fun and enjoyable one. Our whole day activity in Caramoan is very enjoyable because of its beautiful ambiance and islands. I will recommend this place to everyone especially for shooting because of the view of the place.

How to get there?

A. Manila to Naga
By plane, Philippine Airline and Cebu Pacific fly from Manila to Naga. By bus, RSL Bus, Phitranco, Isarog Bus, Amihan Bus, Raymond Bus and Executive Bus have daily trips from Manila (Cubao/Pasay/Alabang) to Naga, fare varies from P500 to P700 one-way with travel time of approximately 8 hours.

You may also opt to take the Penafrancia Tours (P780.00) and Raymond Bus (Contact No: 02-7339380) that go directly to Sabang Port from Manila, travel time is 9 to 10 hours.

B1. Naga to Sabang to Caramoan (Boat)
Catch a jeep, van or bus going to Sabang Port in Naga Central Terminal, fare is around P60-P100 one-way for a travel time of two hours. Sabang Port in the town of San Jose, Camarines Sur is the common jump-off point to Caramoan Islands. There are RoRo and trigger boats that leave every hour from 6AM to 11AM from Sabang to Guijalo Port of Caramoan, fare is P120 per passenger. If you miss the last public boat, you can hire a private boat to Guijalo Port. Range varies depending on the size of the boat and your haggling skill but a boat that can accommodate up to 16 persons usually costs P2500-P3000.

When it is low tide in Sabang, the boats couldn’t get near the shore, but the porters are there to carry passengers on their backs. They charge P10 per passenger.

B2. Naga to Caramoan (Bus)
Land trips direct to Caramoan from Naga are available only during good weather. Naga to Caramoan takes five hours by public jeepney or bus, fare is at P230 per passenger, Goa to Caramoan takes four hours at P200 per passenger.
